Final product
Visual Pun
- It took me a long time to come up with my pun, but I finally decided on "stopwatch"
- I started by getting three images: a stop sign, a stopwatch, and a stopwatch with a string
- I took the word "stop" off the stop sign using the stamp tool and then masked the stopwatch so it was just the numbers
- I then masked the other stopwatch to get just the desired section of string to show, and then enlarged it to replace the pole of the stop sign
- I added an overlay over the numbers so they better blended in, and created another overlay over the top of the string so it was behind the stop sign
- I used the refine edge tool for all of my mask selections
- I had to use the perspective tool to get the numbers as best aligned with the sign as I could

Removing the word "stop" and the pole
I added the numbers from the stopwatch
I added an overlay over the numbers so they blended in better
I added and stretched the string so it replaced the pole
I finally added an overlay over the string to put it behind the stop sign
